All of our birds are outdoor raised here in California's Central Valley for hardiness.  Aviary birds are raised without fosters and may be closed banded at 10 days of age.  All chickens receive Marek's Disease vaccine at hatch.  Each purchase includes a Bird Care Guide.  Pedigrees available upon request.  More about us...

  We put our show quality "Heaven Sent" Black Copper rooster over our show quality "Sweetwater" Cuckoo Marans hen (pictured above).  Produces nice, large barred cockerels and solid black pullets.  The eggs from this cross may not be as dark as our top quality Marans, but they can be visually sexed at hatch.

  This is a popular cross to produce unique laying hens.  We put our show quality "Heaven Sent" Black Copper Marans rooster over our lovely Ameraucana (Easter Egg) hens.  Produces nice large cockerels and pullets that often lay nice olive colored eggs or "Mint Chocolate Chip" (green with brown speckles) eggs.  Neat!
